The GDB12 is compact & light, has twin scart ( incase you need to configure a VCR or DVD )..Has a 7 day electronic programme guide built in,software updates , low energy - upto 60 channels , auto set up ... Parental lock, Channel organiser, preview window , set reminders, Red button interactive ,..Instruction manual is in PLAIN ENGLISH .. My Gran could set this up.. A neat and smart digibox, with clear and easy installation instructions. Good on-screen programme info and guide. Can't fault it.

Normally this box works fine, easy to set up with a good picture. The programme guide is a little basic really only showing details for one channel at a time.
However it does appear to have a design fault in that the box frequently freezes and stops working. As there is no power button this means delving around behind the TV to pull out the plug to reset the unit. Goodmans appear to be aware of this because they even warn you to do this in the manual. Hence 2*.

Simple instructions which allow this to be easily set up. Nice and small so it does not take up much room. May need to buy extra scart leads though if you haven't already got some. We needed two scart leads, one for the TV and one for our DVD player, but luckily we already had them.
