Easy to install and operate. Instructions in the booklet are quite clear. Use of the box gives a marked improvement in the quality and detail of the picture; it was a unique experience watching horse racing and being able to see the jockey's silks fluttering in the breeze, and in Wildlife from Wales, the detail from around Snowdonia was amazing

Brilliant, so simple to set up and well worth buying. Only problem is the lack of HD programmes to watch!! Tell the programme makers to hurry up and make more HD programmes.

There has been a long running bug on these boxes with the audio reverting to L/L from L/R when you change channels but Humax despite being aware of it ca't be bothered to fix it Dont they realise HD goes hand in hand with AV and many of us have multi channel setups and want this fixed!?
Oh and Don't get sold on the firmware update to provide PVR functionality 'hot air'. It isn't going to happen IMO Just do yourself a favour and go and buy a PVR which are now readily available even at Tescos
I wish I had gone for one of the following.

When my partner wanted to buy a freeview HD box for the world cup I was not that bothered.
The box came and we set it up . I felt like my eyes and been polished, what a difference from normal sky or freeview pictures.
Its easy to use but did take a bit of time to get all the settings right especially the sound.
All in all no problems with this box no flickering or interupted viewing.
Would recommend a Humax to anyone thinking of getting a freeview HD box.

Easy to install and use, makes a huge difference to quality of picture.Must check your area has been switched over to digital to be able to receive HD
