Not all it makes out September 9, 2010 NiggyWiggy Fast delivery from Amazon and easy set up but went downhill quickly after that. Had trouble finding HD channels and after scanning had problems with losing some of the other Freeview channels. Later I noticed a 'blip' in the sound which happened ecery 5 minutes or so. Next day there was a message asking to download a software update but the resolution of the message was bigger than my TV screen and as such I was unable to click into all the necessary fields to make the download. Then I noticed that the box had fixed onto one channel and try as I might I couldn't get it to channel change. Eventually I unplugged it from the mains but then had problems rebooting when I reconnected the box. On reading several other reviews I see that the above problems are not uncommon. I returned the unit to Amazon who get 10 out of 10 for customer service. They arranged free collection and promised a refund of my credit card. I have looked at other makes of Freeview High Definition recorders but can't find one with any outstanding reviews. All would appear to have some sort of bug or gremlin so will wait a few more months and see if another model appears which is more stable.
Very, very good. Agree with others - fast new software downloaded September 6, 2010 DRana6779 I have kept up to date with reviews on this as I bought my Sagemcom HD recorder 3 weeks ago.
I agree with the other reviews on here, the recorder has been easy to use, looks good. Its very small and looks more expensive than the price I paid.
After reading reviews I went on to the Sagemcom website and downloaded the latest software on to a USB stick and then put it into the machine and now its more responsive and the guides and functions are super fast.
I have to say with all the things i've recorded and watched in 3 weeks, I've had no problems at all.
I'm enjoying it and would say its worth the money to anyone.
EPG very slow even with latest firmware upgrade September 4, 2010 J. E. Nicholls 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I upgraded to HD after my old Tvonics box finally died. The picture on HD channels is excellent but standard freeview looks a bit worse than my old box. The main problem with this box is the menus are like wading through treacle. There was a small improvement with the latest firmware upgrade but still painfully slow to respond. It sounds like a small problem but a slightly better picture just isn't worth the irritating wait every time I want to scroll through the guide or change channel

Ive had the same problems as other reveiwers, box freezes, sound goes off when I change channel, fast forward a recording and the sound goes.I had the first box two hours, the second box a couple of days as the sagem help line attempted to sort the problem, then I uploaded the new software to no avail, I am now on my third box and this one is going back today and I am getting my money back. Its a load of rubbish.
Sagem RTI90-320 T2 HD PVR August 21, 2010 D. J. Palmer 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Most of the negative comments by previous reviewers have been rectified by the software update. The slow EPG has been speeded up although still slow compared to my Humax. The sound drop-outs have been rectified. The picture reproduction in both SD and HD is excellent, it is easy to record and play back selected programmes. I have none of the problems with HD recordings mentioned by some.
This is a very good PVR for the price and I would recommend it.
