Panasonic DVD & VCR July 23, 2010 Richard T This is an excellent recorder. This is the third Panasonic DVD & VCR recorder I have bought. The one disadvantage they have is the remote control has only one channel and if I select play all three recorders start at the same time.
Expensive mistake. June 7, 2010 L. Hooper (Leeds, UK) Don't be tempted if you have ever experienced a proper VCR, Freeview tuner or DVD.
A big step backwards; frustration guaranteed!
Probably OK at best for transferring VHS to DVD, but very expensive and not auto-tracking so VHS from other recorders has limited compatibility.
A (convenient) one big box with the worst VCR imaginable, very crude Freeview tuner/programme guide, basic DVD and anti-intuitive controls.
I should have bought(and probably will)proper seperate machines and put the money saved towards a TV with extra inputs.
Good kit - does the job. May 16, 2010 P. Griffin (Worcestershire, England) This is the second one of these I have purchased, this one for a friend. It works well gives good reproduction and picture quality on DVD record/play back. The instructions are very complicated to read and it is probably a little too sophisticated for some applications, but is does do the business.
satisfied May 13, 2010 RA GOFFIN (United Kingdom) The DVD player was a tad complicated to set up and get working. Now we have passed that it is an excellent machine great for taping stuff from video.
Good product April 28, 2010 Donald Simpson (GB) Bought for copying old vhs tapes onto disk. Appears to work well but may require more tweeking. Needed grandson to install - not easy. Comments about noise in other reviews are not justified. Good player of cd's
Pleased overall it seems to work well with a Panasonic Viera TV
