Synopsis
The Panasonic DMRXS350 is a 250GB HDD DVD recorder with twin Freesat satellite tuners. It's high definition capabilities mean that you can receive the latest Freesat-HD broadcasts such as BBC-HD and ITV-HD and record them to the capacious 250GB hard disc. You can then archive this content by recording it as standard definition to recordable DVD discs - ideal for sharing with friends and family. Of course you can also receive and record from the myriad of standard definition Freesat channels too. You can even record two programmes simultaneously and pause and rewind live TV.
With support for full HD '1080p' video and DVD upscaling via HDMI, both your high definition and standard definition recordings and your DVD collection will look fantastic on your HD-ready flatscreen. You can also get the benefits of 5.1ch surround sound from Freesat TV (where broadcast) and DVDs.
With the DMRXS350's internet capabilities, you can access the built-in Viera Cast system to access online YouTube movies and Picassa photos. If that weren't enough, there's also an SD card slot for viewing photos from your digital camera and a USB socket for playback of DivX movies and MP3 music from memory sticks or portable MP3 players. You can even copy these files to the hard disc allowing you to use the player as a JukeBox.
