Customer Reviews:
3 out of 5 stars It's OK but ...   September 9, 2010
Sally B (Bristol, UK)
I bought this TV for my bedroom, which is blue and white, because I didn't want a big black screen sitting in the corner and thought white would be perfect. It's adequate BUT my big criticism of it is that, when you hit the 'info' button, the type is so small that you have to move right up to the screen in order to read it. What's that all about? Who on earth thought that would be a good design feature? Also as you flick through the channels there is no identification of what is playing, how long it lasts, what the current time is, etc. No, you have to hit the 'info' button each time - which means you can then see what programme it is but nothing else about it because of the tiny type. And, as I'm usually watching from bed, I'm not prepared to leap out and run across the room each time.
I find it very annoying and really wish I hadn't bought it now ... should have gone for something in silver maybe. But, when laptops are available in a whole range of colours, why oh why don't TV manufacturers realise that we might like our TV's to fit in with our decor and colour schemes? Surely someone is missing a marvellous marketing opportunity.
One final criticism - the remote is HUGE and, as this is only a TV not a DVD player, I cannot understand why DVD controls are included on it. Bad, bad, bad.

4 out of 5 stars Samsung LE19C451   August 30, 2010

Looks good, and very good picture. I like the touch sensitive controls on the front panel, and the menus are easy to read and use. But the sound isn't great - probably average for a small televiion.

we are extremely pleased with the quality of picture and sound on this television. Ideal size to incorporate into a dining room area, or, someone's bedroom.

5 out of 5 stars A very good white TV   June 14, 2010

Brought this TV as a present for my Mother. She could not get on with her previous TV; she found the remote control difficult to understand but this Samsung was nice and clear. It makes a nice change to have a white TV as oppose to a sea of black TVs and the inclusion of a matching white remote control is a nice touch. I personally have not played with this TV but my Mother being a tecnophobe is very happy with it!
