Chuffed! September 6, 2010 Chuckee Thought I'd treat myself to a nice telly for my bedroom (my first ever), and I wasn't disappointed. Delivery was very quick and set up very easy. A white tv is a bit different from the norm and matches my white furniture. Blends in well, and with it being so slim, doesn't take up much space. The picture is of a high quality and sound is more than adequate. So all in all, well chuffed!
Quality piece of kit with some nice touches September 4, 2010 Mr. D. McCallum (London, UK) I've only had this TV for a day, but I'm very impressed with it.
Out of the box, its very easy to assemble, with no screws or plates or anything to put together; just slot the TV into the stand and tighten one nut. The design is very elegant, with the white frame having a kind of wood-effect pattern to it (sounds tacky, but it isn't!) framed by about 1/4 inch of glass. Also very impressed with the freebies in the box, including a cleaning cloth, a small cable tidy and several adaptors so that you can connect your existing kit. I hadn't realised, but there are no scart sockets on this unit, however one of the adaptors is a scart-to-HDMI lead.
When you switch it on for the first time, it'll take you through and idiot-proof start-up guide and asks if the TV will be used in a showroom or a home and so adjusts the settings. Still, I found the sound a bit flat and faces looked a bit orange. You can adjust all of the settings manually, but helpfully it has a selection of picture and sound pre-sets if you're not confident about doing this yourself. I've picked the Movie setting for both and am very happy with that.
Finally, the remote control is unusually large as it has quite a lot of buttons. On the plus side, this means that most features and settings have a dedicated button or in the 'Toolkit', rather than being buried in a menu somewhere.
I've bought this TV for my bedroom and am very happy with it. Can't recommend it enough.
Brilliant! August 30, 2010 smbcavy 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is an extremely neat ultra slim product which is ideal for our conservatory. Easy to set up and picture quality excellent. Sound also good for the location. Can also connect to my PC which is also excellent. Wish they did a larger version for the bedroom but white TVs are few and far between for some reason. Very pleased and highly recommend this product!!
its okay but... August 29, 2010 judge judy (uk) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I particularly wanted a stylish white slimline to fit in with the style and look of my room and sure it is a nice looking model, but it is not as featured laden as the LG model LG 22LE3300 22-inch Widescreen HD Ready LED TV with Freeview which I ordered a few weeks before.
In retrospect I would have liked a white version of the LG model better
Still it is a reasonable model, good quality for the price but knowing that other similarly priced models are technically smarter means that I would rate this as a 3 rather than a 5
A Little Stunner. July 30, 2010 David H. 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
A really lovely looking little set: only for sale on the internet at the moment. When it is eventually seen in the retail outlets it will sell "like hot cakes". Excellent performance & at a reasonable price for new technology.
Ordered Thursday afternoon, arrived next morning.
