Whether you want a portable, a plasma, or a fully HD-Ready model, there are many makes, models, screen sizes and brands to choose from, right now. Obviously, a set-top box is not required, so that's less hassle (and cabling) to deal with. Plus, flat screens are the order of the day; if you bought a television even a few years ago, you'll be amazed at how many sets today simply do not have the chunky depth of older models, even at large screen sizes!
