Didn't work for me at all - suspect it was broken. To be fair I didn't return it as it was just too much trouble to post etc....so you might have better luck

I bought one of these to help out an 84 year old pensioner who had decided to take the digital plunge and buy a Freeview LCD TV.I found it incredulous that this thing actually managed to weaken the signal! As for a tunable gain feature-forget it! I was not convinced the tune wheel was actually connected to anything as it made no discernable differance.
This may be cheap but by the time I had paid the postage it ammounted to day light robbery. Avoid like the plague!Invest in the best aerial you can afford rather than buy this.

I use this booster to amplify a signal to a remote TV in another room which is simply a monitor of the main set.The distance is approximately 15 metres and the ensuing picture was grainy and the sound crackly.Installation of this booster with the control turned through three quarters of its travel has given a pin sharp picture with clear sound. Thoroughly recommended at a very low price too.
